A sincere thank you to all of you that brought the UK ITF Autumn Nationals to a successful conclusion.  We hope everyone went home with positive memories.

All and any UK ITF events are presented on behalf of all of us within the UK ITF community as it gives our members reassurance that we offer NGB accreditation through the BTC, a seeded competition for selection of our members to international tournaments, an umpire route for our Degree members to share their experience, knowledge and commitment to fair and consistent application of rules for our competitors and a broader reference of the integrity of our teaching of the ITF syllabus. 

For events/competitions, there is a lot of background work from encouraging our members to participate, administration to ensure a professional presentation, volunteers in setting up events and arenas and our senior instructors who have volunteered for executive roles, allowing their experience and wisdom to complement any event.  All roles are of a volunteer take-up and on your behalf, I thank our Executive for their time and efforts.

Master Brunger has sent out our next two UK ITF events, being the South West Seminar and our National Training Day and Awards Night.  It is my hope that many of you will be able to attend these events.  The Awards Night does give an opportunity for all of us to congratulate our 4^th Degree and above members on receiving their certification, recognition of our World Championship representatives – umpires, coaches, competitors and administrators – along with the recognition of individuals who have gone above and beyond in their contribution to UK ITF.  I can only but encourage all of you as instructors or, if not you, your students to celebrate UK ITF’s successes in 2025.
